H05V-U and H07V-U series electrical cables are solid single-core copper wires designed specifically for house and building wiring. They use high-purity electrolytic copper as conductors and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as insulation layers, covering two cross-sectional specifications of 1.5mm² and 2.5mm², adapting to voltage levels of 300/500V and 450/750V respectively, and offering white, black, and red color options. With stable electrical performance and wide adaptability, they are ideal for indoor lighting, socket power supply, and connection of small power equipment.​ In terms of specifications and performance, the core differences between the two cables lie in voltage levels and current-carrying capacity. The H05V-U cable has a rated voltage of 300/500V. The 1.5mm² specification has a continuous current-carrying capacity of 16A at 30℃, suitable for low-load scenarios such as lighting circuits and small household appliances (like table lamps and routers); the 2.5mm² has a current-carrying capacity of 25A, which can meet the needs of medium-power equipment such as bedroom sockets and wall-mounted air conditioners. The H07V-U cable has a rated voltage of 450/750V, with the 1.5mm² current-carrying capacity increased to 18A and 2.5mm² reaching 28A. It can adapt to higher-power equipment such as kitchen sockets and electric water heaters, and has stronger ability to withstand voltage fluctuations, making it suitable for areas with higher requirements for power stability.​ In terms of materials, the conductor is made of solid high-purity copper wire with a purity of ≥99.9% and excellent conductivity (≥58MS/m), ensuring low current transmission loss; at the same time, the solid structure has moderate rigidity, which is convenient for maintaining linearity during pipe 穿 laying and reducing bending loss. The insulation layer is rigid PVC with a temperature resistance of 60-70℃, with an insulation resistance of ≥100MΩ, which can withstand 2000V AC voltage for 1 minute without breakdown. It also has good wear resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and can resist erosion from environmental factors such as wall cement and dust. The flame retardant grade reaches UL94 V-0, and the insulation layer self-extinguishes quickly in case of fire, effectively slowing down the spread of fire.​ The color design follows international wiring specifications: white is often used for neutral wires, and black/red as phase wires. The intuitive color distinction can reduce the risk of wiring misoperation and improve construction efficiency. In residential buildings, H05V-U cables are mostly used for lighting and low-power socket circuits in bedrooms and living rooms; H07V-U cables are preferentially deployed in areas with high electrical loads such as kitchens and bathrooms, or as special lines for small power equipment (like washing machines and dryers). Both cables comply with international standards such as EN 50525, and have passed full inspections including insulation thickness, conductor resistance, and aging resistance, with a service life of more than 15 years. Whether it is pre-embedded wiring in new residences or line renovation in old buildings, they can provide safe and reliable power transmission guarantees.
