Retylene Torsade Aluminum Overhead Cable 216 416 425 225​ The Retylene Torsade Aluminum Overhead Cable, available in 216mm², 416mm², 425mm², and 225mm² configurations, is a cutting-edge solution for low-voltage power distribution. Its name derives from two key features: "Retylene"—a high-performance polymer insulation—and "Torsade," referring to the twisted conductor design that enhances structural stability and reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI).​ Crafted with high-purity aluminum conductors, the cable delivers excellent conductivity (61% IACS) with minimal power loss. The 2-core variants (216, 225) suit single-phase applications like residential lines, while 4-core options (416, 425) cater to three-phase systems in small industrial or commercial settings. Retylene insulation resists UV rays, moisture, and temperatures from -40°C to 80°C, ensuring durability in outdoor environments.​ The twisted design minimizes sag and wind-induced vibration, supporting spans up to 60 meters. Compliant with international standards, this cable balances cost-effectiveness and reliability, making it ideal for urban grids, rural electrification, and suburban networks. Its lightweight construction (3.2–5.8kg/m) simplifies installation, reducing labor costs significantly.
