(4) Production Process

The production process of 600V XLPE insulated PVC sheathed CVD, CVT, CVq cables strictly follows high-standard process requirements to ensure that each cable has excellent quality.
The first step is the conductor preparation process. High-purity electrolytic copper rods are selected as raw materials. After cleaning to remove oil and impurities on the surface, they enter the wire drawing process. The copper rod is drawn into a Copper Wire of the required diameter through a wire drawing die. During the wire drawing process, it is necessary to strictly control the wire drawing speed and the temperature of the die to ensure that the diameter of the copper wire is uniform, the surface is smooth, and at the same time, the copper wire has good mechanical properties and electrical conductivity. The next step is the extrusion process of the insulation layer. The prepared conductor is sent to the extruder, and a layer of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation layer is extruded outside the conductor. Before extrusion, the XLPE material needs to be pretreated to remove moisture and impurities to ensure the quality of the insulation layer. During the extrusion process, it is necessary to accurately control the extrusion temperature, pressure and speed to ensure that the thickness of the insulation layer is uniform, the surface is smooth, and it is closely combined with the conductor, without defects such as bubbles and impurities. After the extrusion is completed, the insulation layer is cross-linked, usually by warm water cross-linking or steam cross-linking, so that the XLPE molecules form a stable three-dimensional network structure, thereby improving its temperature resistance and mechanical properties.
Then is the extrusion process of the sheath. The cable core with the insulation layer is sent to the sheath extruder, and a layer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheath is extruded outside the insulation layer. The PVC material needs to be fully mixed and plasticized before extrusion to ensure the uniformity and quality of the sheath. During the extrusion process, it is also necessary to control the temperature, pressure and speed to ensure that the thickness of the sheath is uniform, the surface is flat, and it is closely attached to the insulation layer to play an effective protective role. When extruding the sheath of cables of different models, the thickness and formula of the sheath will be adjusted according to the design requirements to meet their specific performance needs.
Finally, there is the inspection and packaging process of the finished product. The produced cables need to undergo a series of strict inspections, including appearance inspection, size measurement, insulation resistance test, voltage resistance test, mechanical performance test, etc. Only cables whose various indicators meet relevant standards and regulations can be judged as qualified products. (1) Packaging

For long-length cables, wooden cable reels are usually used for packaging. (2) Transportation

(3) Delivery
