Materials
Conductor: Copper (Cu) is used as the Conductor Material. Copper has extremely high conductivity and is an ideal conductive material. Copper has good ductility and toughness, is not easy to break during cable processing and laying, and can ensure the service life of the cable. In addition, copper has strong corrosion resistance and is not easy to be corroded in general environments, so it can maintain stable conductivity.
Insulation Layer: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) is used as the Insulation Material. XLPE has excellent temperature resistance and can maintain stable insulation performance in the temperature range of -40℃ to 90℃. Style
Conductor Production: High-purity copper materials are selected, and impurities are removed through smelting to improve the purity of copper. Then, the copper material is processed into copper rods, and then the copper rods are drawn into Copper Wires of different diameters through wire drawing equipment. The diameter of the copper wire is determined according to the specification of the cable. For conductors that need multi-strand stranding, multiple copper wires are stranded according to a specific stranding process to form conductors of the required specifications. During the stranding process, the stranding pitch and tension are strictly controlled to ensure the roundness of the conductor and uniform conductivity.
Insulation Layer Extrusion: Special extrusion equipment is used to heat the XLPE material to a molten state, and uniformly extrude and coat it on the surface of the conductor through an extrusion die to form an insulation layer. During the extrusion process, the extrusion temperature, speed and pressure are accurately controlled to ensure that the insulation layer has a uniform thickness, a smooth surface, is closely combined with the conductor, and has no defects such as bubbles and impurities. After extrusion, the insulation layer is cross-linked, and the XLPE molecules form a network structure by heating to enhance the temperature resistance and mechanical strength of the insulation layer.
Sheath Extrusion: The conductor treated with the insulation layer is sent to the sheath extrusion equipment. The PVC material is heated and melted, and then uniformly extruded and coated on the outside of the insulation layer to form a sheath layer. The extrusion parameters are controlled to ensure that the sheath layer has a uniform thickness, is closely attached to the insulation layer, and has a flat surface. The extruded cable is cooled to make the sheath layer solidify and form quickly.
Finished Product Inspection: The finished cables are fully inspected. In terms of appearance inspection, check whether the cable surface is smooth, whether there is damage, and whether the marks are clear. Dimensional inspection includes conductor diameter, insulation layer thickness, sheath thickness, cable outer diameter, etc., to ensure they meet the specification requirements. Electrical performance tests include insulation resistance test and voltage withstand test to verify the insulation performance and voltage withstand capacity of the cable. Only cables that pass all inspection items can leave the factory.
Packaging Materials: Ttu cables use different packaging materials according to their specifications and quantities. Packaging Requirements: The packaging must be firm and reliable, able to withstand external forces during transportation and handling, and prevent the cable from moving and wearing in the packaging. The packaging should have good moisture-proof and dust-proof performance to prevent the cable from being polluted and eroded by the external environment. At the same time, the packaging should be easy to load, unload and transport. Lifting holes are set on the cable reel to facilitate the use of lifting equipment.
Transportation Methods: Short-distance transportation can use truck transportation. The truck is equipped with fixing devices to fix the cable reels or cable drums firmly to prevent shaking during transportation. For long-distance transportation, railway transportation or long-distance road transportation can be chosen. Railway transportation has good stability and large transportation capacity, which is suitable for large quantities of cable transportation; long-distance road transportation has high Flexibility and can reach the destination directly. Transportation Precautions: Before transportation, check whether the packaging of the cable is intact and whether the fixing is firm.
