Conductor: Stranded with multiple fine Copper Wires, featuring a flexible structure (corresponding to "F" in the model). This design ensures good flexibility, adapting to frequent bending and movement, while the copper material guarantees excellent conductivity. The cross-sectional area typically ranges from 0.5mm² to 10mm², meeting the transmission requirements of circuits with different powers.
Insulation Layer: Uses cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE, corresponding to "Y" in the model) as the Insulation Material. This material has high temperature resistance, high insulation resistance, and strong chemical stability, effectively isolating the conductor from the external environment to prevent leakage or short circuits. The rated operating temperature can usually reach 90℃, and it can maintain insulation performance even in short-term overload or fire conditions.
Sheath Layer: Adopts neoprene (corresponding to "A" in the model) as the sheath material. Neoprene is wear-resistant, aging-resistant, oil-resistant, chemical corrosion-resistant, and has certain weather resistance, protecting the internal structure of the cable from mechanical damage, moisture, dust, and other external factors, thus extending the cable's service life.
Fire-resistant Performance: The "N" in the model indicates that the cable has fire-resistant properties, usually complying with relevant national standards (such as GB/T 19666). Under specified fire conditions (e.g., temperature reaching 750℃~1000℃), it can maintain normal power supply for a certain period (usually more than 90 minutes), supporting emergency evacuation and fire rescue.
"NYAF": Corresponds to "fire-resistant (N), cross-linked polyethylene insulation (Y), neoprene sheath (A), flexible structure (F)";
"0.6/1kV": Indicates the rated voltage of the cable, where 0.6kV is the phase voltage and 1kV is the line voltage, suitable for low-voltage distribution systems;
"2×4": Indicates the cable has 2 Cores, with each core conductor having a cross-sectional area of 4mm².
Emergency Power Supply Systems: In densely populated places such as high-rise buildings, hotels, hospitals, and shopping malls, NYAF wire is often used in the power supply circuits of key equipment such as fire pumps, emergency lighting, and smoke exhaust fans, ensuring these devices can operate normally in case of fire.
Wiring for Mobile Equipment: Due to its flexible structure, it is suitable for motors and control cabinets that need frequent movement in industrial production lines, as well as temporarily built electrical lines, reducing cable damage caused by bending and dragging.
Wiring in Harsh Environments: In humid places (such as basements, bathrooms), dusty areas (such as workshops, warehouses), or locations with mild chemical corrosion, the neoprene sheath can provide effective protection, maintaining the stable performance of the cable.
